Fly Puffin Fly
An atlantic puffin on its flight path over the water off Witless Bay. During peak nesting season in July, puffins are out all day catching bait before returning to their burrows on the bird island in Witless Bay, Newfoundland. Puffins are one of the fastest flying and diving sea birds. Over 250,000 pairs of puffins nest in the Witless Bay Reserve every summer. The easiest way to experience these cute colorful birds is to get on board local boat tours in Witless Bay.
