Twillingate is often called the "Gateway to the Iceberg Alley". With a flaundered iceberg carved out into a big ice arch, it became a magnet for photographers and tourists. Took this picture in late afternoon, the day after a large part of the berg collasped. A passing local tour boat gave an excellent perspective of the iceberg size. That afternoon, I have witnessed at least 10 boats passing by the berg within an hour. Being close up and personal at a safe distance is one awesome experience to treasure for life.
