Threads
Originally a coloured pencil drawing, this print illustrates Threads.
Another passion of mine is crocheting. I think joining threads represents a calm beauty and a peaceful mind while making a granny square or arranging them into a single piece. My grandma taught me to knit and crochet when I was around six years old, and since then, I occasionally return to balls of yarn, hooks, or needles. I used only coloured pencils for this piece, which I think is because pencil strokes emerge in the same manner as the stitches. Soft, short dashes of colourful leads…
