A Whale of a Tale
This was my first time seeing Sperm Whales. They spent most of their time in the deepest oceans and will sometimes hold their breath for up to 90 minutes. This beautiful creature will sometime float vertically with just the nose sticking out of the water. These whale were likely on their way further north to the mating grounds.
