Painting is great therapy. Hi, I’m Heather and I love to paint. I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I have forever had a pencil or a brush in my hand. I love light and colour, and the impact it has on everything. I also have a deep fascination with character and capturing a glint of personality in the eye of a portrait.
I was born in Ontario, although my mother claims that was a mistake, and we moved home to Newfoundland when I was very young. Both my parents were born and raised in Newfoundland and there is no where else in the world quite like it. While we have lived in a number of places, the sense of community in beautiful Torbay was too much to resist.
