Even by Newfoundland standards, the stony beach at St Vincent's is another beautiful place to visit. It's also a fantastic place to go whale-watching without having to board a boat (the ideal time to go is during the summer). Because of the paved path, whale-watching is possible here in wheelchairs. Even if there aren't any whales in sight, this is a lovely cove that is photogenic on its own. Lucky for us we've seen few whales from the shore.
