Steve spends most of his time working as a guide. Based in St. Anthony, Newfoundland, he provides interpretation for local marine eco tours, and travels to isolated coastlines to capture the beauty of remote locations. He has ventured as far north as Greenland to explore and photograph the landscape, wildlife, and the people who live there.
Steve also guides hunters in some of the wilderness areas on the Great Northern Peninsula, which has taught him some valuable skills for capturing wildlife shots.
He can be found shooting a local wedding or family session, walking among the resident caribou herds, or perched somewhere on a cliff trying to capture the perfect shot of an iceberg at sunset.
He’s had his work published on advertising signs, in tourism booklets, and most notably on the pages of National Geographic Kids.
