Snowmaggedon

This pictures tells the story of Snowmaggedon in St. John's Newfoundland in 2019. Over 100 cm of snowfall in a short period of time with power loss and road blockages, our city has issued a State of Emergency. No road traffic was allowed in the city except emergency vehicles and non essential businesses were closed. You can see people resorted to walking down the usually busy downtown street to the local corner store, lining up for their daily essential necessities. Never have I witnessed a street with no traffic in downtown St. John's.
