I liked to draw from the time I could hold a pencil or crayon, and started painting in 1993 with the Ed Roche School of Fine Art. Growing up near the ocean in a small community in Notre Dame Bay, I liked to sketch boats and bay scenes, and after moving to St. John's, was fascinated with older, colourful houses all joined together. These houses features amazing attention to architectural detail, especially around the doors and windows.
My paintings mostly include colorful city streets, historical scenes of streets that are long gone, scenes of smaller villages and coves around Newfoundland, and scenes from other areas gathered from traveling.
